So the gods are now a little more tolerant of petty criminals who are not blessed by the Star-Made perk. The items stolen threshold for getting blessings was increased from 10 to 100 and the lifetime bounty threshold was increased from 3,000 to 5,000. There are also a few minor changes to blessings before you take the new Star-Made perk to make the gods a little more tolerant of thieves and petty criminals. Gods are more tolerant of petty criminals: This mod also re-balanced a few other blessings, like reducing the Akatosh added blessing by 50% but giving it to the player much earlier (after the graybeards recognize you as Dragonborn), and modestly increased the power of the Dibella and Mara blessings to make them more competitive with some others that were already quite powerful in Requiem. For instance, Arkay doesn't like vampires and necromancers, neither does Dibella (but to a much lesser extent) and Stendarr now tolerates law abiding conjurers but not necromancers.įor the most part, however, you can get your shrine blessings if you have taken the Star-Made perk, no matter what bad acts you have done, as long as you repent by paying off any current bounty. Also, I added a couple new deity specific restrictions. You still have to pay off any current bounty (and I left in place a few deity specific restrictions). So I rewrote the whole thing to something I found more appealing.įirst, I re-named the perk "Star-Made" after Pelinal Whitestrake and then I removed all of the hidden penalties and finally, I made it so you can get shrine blessing with the perk regardless of how many items you have stolen, how many murders you have committed or whether you are a member of the thieves guild or the DB. Great roleplaying idea but in practice it was not something I would be excited about taking. So the only reason to take the perk would be if you had a character who only committed a few crimes, was not going to not commit any more crimes and wanted to be punished for the rest of the game by all the hidden penalties. I always liked the idea behind Painful Regrets but it seemed too harsh since it only increases the theft/murder cap by a smidgen and it also imposes a whole slew of hidden penalties on your character. This is a Requiem addon, so Requim is required! Warning: Make sure there are no active effects from shrines or divine amulets on your character when installing, uninstalling or updating this mod.
